Caring for Your Barefoot
Saddle
Each Barefoot saddle has a thick, molded, pressure absorbing panel on either side of the horse´s spine. This is called the VPS (Vertebrae Protection System). These panels create a gullet to guarantee improved spinal clearance. They are also anatomically shaped to the rider´s thighs.
Technical details:
- Brown or Black Nubuck Leather with natural color kodel fleece underlay. Nubuck is top-grain cattle rawhide leather that has been sanded or buffed on the grain side. This gives the saddle a bit of a "grippy" feel. It is a no-nap Nubuck. Regular leather care products may be used.
- Wide width fork insert (interchangeable with optional XX wide fork)
- Deeper seat, anatomically cut
- Five D-rings
- Western cinch fittings for a secure fit
- Rounded skirts
- Weight approx. 13 pounds
Sizing:
- Size 1 comparable to western sizing 14-14.5". English seat sizing 16' -16.5".
- Size 2 comparable to western sizing 15"-16". English seat sizing 17" - 18".
